		The purpose of Trinity Lutheran Church Preschool is to provide a nurturing, dynamic, healthy, and supportive preschool experience for children and families within the larger context of a Christian organization and its witness to the world. It is important to understand and celebrate that Trinity Lutheran Preschool is first and foremost a ministry, an integral part of our congregation’s message and mission. The preschool is both sheep and shepherd of the Gospel of Jesus Christ-a recipient of the Gospel and an instrument of witness to the larger community. We at Trinity believe that preschool age children learn naturally through play and social interactions with each other. We seek to provide an environment for those interactions while at the same time preparing each child for kindergarten at his or her own pace. We believe that pressure, rote memorization and rigidly academic environments are counter productive to these goals. Instead, we strive to encourage genuine curiosity, social connection though human relationships, and a love of learning.
